NNBA News for November 27, 2022

Get To Know The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys!

Next time you see an NNBA Board member, please give them a big ol’ hug, handshake or high five.  They scored BIG TIME in booking The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys to be the Headliners of the 2023 Bowers Mansion Bluegrass Festival!  This young band from Knoxville, TN has already earned a Grammy nomination for “Best Bluegrass Album” --- and they haven’t even crossed the Mississippi River yet!

You see, they were just hittin’ the Big Time when Covid hit.  And with the cancellation of so many major festivals in 2020 and 2021, they’ve just never been out here, yet.

We’ll be telling you more about them over the next months,

but for now, have a look/listen to their Grand Ol’ Opry Debut

(3 months before the pandemic hit) -- https://youtu.be/cl0vfcR15-w

Just a reminder! There's NO  NNBA semi-monthly jam workshop this Wednesday

The only Jam in December will be the 7th at the First Congregational Church on Sunshine.

No jam on December 21st due to unavailability of the facility.

Twice a month beginner and intermediate players meet for a jam workshop in Northwest Reno.  We really, really need bass players.  Well, we really need all the players,

but you bass players are the glue that holds us together!

Whether you are just learning bass or are an expert, we'd love to have your help.

See the note above for more info.  Call Sue at 775-720-2400 if you have questions.
