With seven bands and spanning three days, the 2008
Bower's Mansion Bluegrass Festival was a huge success. This year the event featured events at both the Mansion grounds and Davis Creek Park including a Friday night concert (Davis Creek Amphitheatre), the main event all day Saturday (Bower's Stage), a Saturday night Contra dance (Davis Creek Park) and a Sunday morning gospel show (Davis Creek Amphitheatre).

Thanks to the entire NNBA organization for hosting this annual event!

Welcome to the official website of the Northern Nevada Bluegrass Association. Our organization is dedicated to promoting and preserving bluegrass, old-time, traditional and related folk music - acoustic music from a common American heritage - in the Northern Nevada area.

The NNBA conducts a variety of activities for its members and the general public, including but not limited to: hosting jams and potluck dinners to encourage musicians to play together; publishing an informational and educational newsletter; sponsoring and conducting related workshops, jams, special presentations and educational sessions; and sponsoring and conducting an annual festival.
