About the event

Free for High School & College Students with IDs.  Learn about the history and importance of American String Bands, AND experience what it's like to BE in a String Band.  We'll play and sing by ear, the way they did in the old days.  No experience necessary -- we'll use our voices, simple string and hand percussion instruments, and experience how folks "back in the day" made music together.
