Monthly Jam Class - Learn to play Bluegrass!

On the 4th Thursday of every month, we hold an open class where we teach Bluegrass songs.  Everyone's invited!  $5 donation at the door is requested.

You should already know the basics of your instrument -- simple chords, how to strum, pluck, pick or bow it.  We provide printed materials, including chord charts, tablature, lyrics, and music stands. You'll also get links to recordings that you can practice at home with.

Expert Instructors will help you learn leads, rhythm techniques, harmony singing, and the most important skills of all, the "Ten Jammandments!".  First half of the class is instruction, and the second half we just JAM on the tunes we've learned.

Bluegrass music is all about "repertoire".  If you don't know any Bluegrass songs, you won't have much fun at a Bluegrass jam, and we have lots of Bluegrass Jams around here!

Open to players of banjos, guitars, mandolins, fiddles, dobros and upright bass.  Some instruments available for rental, if needed.
