Our festival takes place in Washoe Valley, a beautiful rural area between Reno and Carson City.  However, there are no lodging facilities in Washoe Valley (nor restaurants or nightlife).  So, we have arranged for discounted room rates in South Reno, a 20 minute drive to the festival (and 5 minutes to the airport)​Staybridge Suites and the Hilton Garden Inn are both lovely properties that normally cost well over $200 per night.  But for Bowers Bluegrass Festival guests, the rates are $159 to $174!  Must make reservation by July 22.  48 hour cancellation policy. ​

Staybridge Suites Reno features complimentary Wi-Fi throughout, a fitness center, an outdoor patio with fire pit and BBQ grills, indoor swimming pool, guest laundry with no charge washers and dryers, business center, and complimentary full breakfast buffet. All suites are nicely equipped with a sitting area and a full kitchen with all cookware, plates and utensils. There are numerous restaurants and shopping within one mile of the hotel.

Hilton Garden Inn Reno features complimentary Wi-Fi throughout, a fitness center,  an outdoor patio with fire pit, indoor swimming pool, business center and coin operated guest laundry. All rooms and suites feature a microwave, min-fridge, Keurig coffee maker and comfortable work spaces. There are numerous restaurants and shopping within walking distance and a nice walking path around a lake behind the hotel.

Some fine print:

• Dates default to arriving Friday, August 22, 2025 and departing Sunday, August 24, 2025 and can be changed by clicking ‘Edit Stay’ (Hilton) or ‘Change Search’ (Staybridge)

• Reservations must be made prior to Tuesday, July 22, 2025 to receive group rates

• Guests may also call Hilton reservations @ 855.437.4340 and use group code BBF or Staybridge Suites @ 833.221.9046 with code BBF to make a reservation

• A credit card number is required at time of booking to guarantee reservation although it is not charged

• Rate is flexible and can be cancelled or changed up to two days prior to arrival with no fee

• Reservations must be cancelled at least two days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room and tax.
